GlowNote is no ordinary candle. Hidden in the heart of each hand-poured candle is an aluminum ring engraved with a message that only becomes visible over time. A small gesture with a big emotional impact — designed to touch the heart.
GlowNote aimed to create a brand that resonates emotionally while standing out visually. The concept — a candle with a hidden message — called for branding and packaging that captured both the surprise and warmth of the experience. In addition, a user-friendly webshop was needed to allow for personalisation.
Studio BC developed the brand from the ground up: from naming, visual identity, and tone of voice to packaging, product photography, and a custom WooCommerce webshop. The visual style was inspired by elegance and calm — with natural tones, soft typography, and a minimalist layout that lets the message take center stage. The packaging — a sleek black tin inside a cylindrical tube — turns the product into a stylish, gift-worthy item.
On the technical side, we built a flexible webshop allowing customers to select or customise their own message and optionally choose a fragrance. For the personalisation interface, we used Fancy Product Designer and ACF, with extra attention to mobile usability.
GlowNote is ready for the market with a powerful brand story, a scalable production flow, and a visual identity that sticks. The result is a product people don’t just buy — they remember it, and they pass it on.
